Con-way’s approach to community involvement primarily encompasses both corporate giving and volunteerism. Con-way Inc. and our operating units; Con-way Freight, Menlo Worldwide Logistics, Con-way Truckload, and Road Systems Inc., make charitable contributions in the form of:
- Corporate giving
- In-kind donations
- Volunteerism
- Monetary donations are strictly limited to the areas of:
- Children
- Education
- Health
- Motor Vehicle Safety
We make donations only to 501(c)(3) or similarly qualified organizations engaged in well-documented charitable missions that align with our employees desires and benefit the communities within which we operate.
Requests are evaluated based on:
- The needs and qualifications of the organization
- The organizations’ alignment with Con-way’s areas of focus
- The availability of resources that Con-way has to help the requesting organization
In compliance with our values and ethics policy, requests will not receive unusual consideration based on whether or not the requester uses, purchases, or recommends Con-way or its operating companies’ services.
